Tomando este carnet como territorio / superficie plástica, inicio un recorrido interminable por mi propio rostro y los datos que moldearon su forma, buscando encontrar alguna expresión que me aproxime a la pregunta sobre lo que soy o creo ser. fotográficos de mi infancia, imágenes que estuvieron ahí por siempre, como intentando hablarme de lo que aparentemente soy o creo ser. Se trata de múltiples conductos retorcidos, trenzados caprichosamente entre sí: formaciones que se ramifican, anudan y tensionan, fusionándose plásticamente, poblando densamente el espacio. Encuentro analogías entre estas figuras abstractas y la morfología del aparato digestivo y sus órganos. El íleon es la sección final del intestino delgado, cumple la función de absorber nutrientes de los alimentos para que el cuerpo los pueda usar. Intervengo y extraño imágenes de mi historia, procesándolas al igual que los alimentos son digeridos, absorbidos y utilizados por células de nuestro cuerpo como fuente de energía. De esta manera, busco articular un organismo formado por múltiples aparatos digestivos conectados entre sí, modelando una corporalidad indescifrable. Me propongo descomponer las imágenes de mis recuerdos en una materialidad que trascienda los órdenes de lo estático y lo establecido, expandiéndose a múltiples posibilidades, morfologías y lecturas. Nos enfrentamos a un paisaje, una espacialidad, que sometida al tiempo no es sino una lucha entre opuestos, como fuerzas que empujan constantemente de un lado y del otro del cuadro. Entonces ya nada permanece, todo fluye y cambia: atravesamos sitios indescifrables, difíciles de ubicar en espacio y tiempo, componiendo un territorio inabarcable. Pareciera ser un recorrer insaciable, un derrotero sin fin en búsqueda de algo, de alguna respuesta, cuando al fin y al cabo nada permanece: todo es eterna sucesión. No es posible bañarse dos veces en el mismo río, porque nuevas aguas corren siempre sobre tí. De esta manera, se busca reflexionar sobre las imágenes mentales de la memoria, sus formas de manifestarse, y las mutaciones que producen a partir de su devenir temporal. A partir de la programación, se busca dotar a la imagen fotográfica del funcionamiento de un autómata celular: utilizar la lógica evolutiva de los autómatas para manipular e intervenir estos registros fotográficos. El eje central del proyecto es que una determinada imagen sea un proceso en sí mismo: que la imagen pase a tener el funcionamiento que la haga evolucionar y mutar en el tiempo. Ahora vemos personajes sin rostro, figuras perdidas como espectros que conviven y se desarrollan en un presente imposible de ser.
